Puck is a weekly webcomic that, in the words of one fan, is "mostly irreverent humor concerning a pretty girl with freckles and a hot she-devil who wears fan-service costumes." Surreal fantasy slice-of-life crazy-type stuff about the world's funniest redhead! Updates Tuesday.

Had to look it up…
“Metamucil is a bulk-producing laxative and fiber supplement. The Metamucil brand has existed since 1934, and was owned by G.D. Searle & Company until 1985 when Procter & Gamble acquired the brand. The active ingredient is psyllium seed husks. It may also reduce cholesterol when taken daily.[1] Metamucil is sold in powdered drink mixes, capsules, and wafers. Metamucil has been available in different flavors, such as Orange, Berry, and Pink Lemonade. A sugar-free version has also been available.” – wikipedia
I once heard of a strange land where the rivers flowed with maple syrup, and lumberjacks wore tuques and rode beavers to work. It had a silly name too. Canadia or some such nonsense.
i think orange Metamucil tastes good. it’s the choking potential that is bad. I guess this page is meant to show that Puck’s mothering skills are very limited. 😉

Don’t give it to the kiddies!
What world do you live in where Metamucil is not common knowledge?
People live in all sorts of crazy worlds. It never ceases to amaze me what is not common knowledge.
Well I’d never heard of it either and I live in the real world, Great Britain…:)
See? People live in these wacky fantasy worlds of tea and crumpets and jelly babies! Who’d have thought?

@CH
Honestly, Maple-Flavored ANYTHING is pretty good.
But we really need to get some Vermontonians faced-off with some Canadatonians as to which Maple is superior.
On a Hockey Rink.
Filled with PUCKS.
I keep psyllium in the cabinet, for occasional need, but I hadn’t heard of Metamucil.
This is my first time reading your comic, having discovered it through an ad, while reading Questionable Content. I like it much.
Glad you like it! If the early stuff seems shaky, I promise you that it gets better.
Oh, God! That poor kid!
Well, it just keeps on going. For, like, a decade, so this certainly isn’t the worst of it.
Why does Puck even have Metamucil around? Are 630+ year old fairies constipated? If so, why doesn’t her tummy bulge?
Everyone gets constipated sometimes. Everyone.
Wait til YOU get that old, see how YOUR handle decades of junk food.

That is correct.
Metamucil does make a horrible orange juice. As does tangerine juice, by the way. I’ve had that switch pulled on my.
Fun fact: most things that are not orange juice make a horrible orange juice.
Isn’t it weird how that works?
